The School Day

Each site operates a 32.5 hour week.

We have a soft start at both premises to enable parents to commute between the sites – and this is particularly important when there is a lot of traffic because of the A1 roadworks!

We officially start at 08:45am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Infant School and 8:55am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Junior School – 3:15pm.

Term Dates

Please try to arrange holidays when school is closed. A holiday form must be asked for and returned to school by parents who decide to withdraw their children from school to accompany them on holiday.

Please note that no holidays taken in term time will be authorised. Learn more about attendance and absence.
