Reception Class had a brilliant time at the farm today! We saw sheep, horses, cows, pigs, llamas, wallabies and much more! In the morning we had a tractor ride and then walked around to see some of the bigger animals and then after lunch and the play park we were able to help to milk a lamb and then hold rabbits, guinea pigs and chicks. Finally, we had an ice-cream in the shade before heading back to school! The children were all so sensible, enthusiastic and brave holding and feeding the animals!
The children said:
‘My favourite bit was every bit!’
‘I loved the guinea pigs and the rabbits!’
‘I loved it all, I can’t pick the best bit!’
‘I think I will dream about the farm tonight!’
We are so proud of all of the children for their behaviour today- well done to you all!
